quote of the night - don't know if anyone else heard it or if it's been mentioned...

Ray Wilkins talking about dortmunds stunning equaliser....

"thats a strike that if you attempt 50 times.....50 times it goes into the stands"

except ray, for that one time, it flew into the top corner.

The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

watched the milan barca 1st half on replay. Pato was stunning on the ball. The way he dribbles at pace and looks so composed is amazing.

Every clip i've seen of the Arsenal game last night involved the ball being played in behind the 2 centre backs and Mertesacker slowly jogging back, can't see him being any kind of solution to their defensive problems
We managed to rectify it, though, because it now says, "Cook" where it once said "Cock", and "Pass" where it once said "Piss", so it’s slightly less rude.

Yeah he looked horrendous - only saw Dortmund's chances but I was laughing out loud at how confused and bewildered Mertesacker looked. Especially amusing given playing Dortmund isn't exactly a new experience for the big lamppost.
Thanks very much for being ‘This Mornings’ Farmer’

Hodgson do it only because he don't have a clue how to play attacking football. AVB, Mancini and Rafa do/did it because it is the safest way to build up a good attacking system.
I think you've completely missed the point about what 'defensive narky-ness' means

I never watched any of the football last night as i had one of the boys spring cleaning behind the counter.
                                How well did Dortmund play?
