        Superb.

My Dad always hated Davies, hated him. A few on here do too, including Neil , and I can kinda see why. But I thought he was great.

I'll never forget his commentary on a Beardsley goal in a derby in the late 80s...

"Barnes............oh lovely backheel, McMahon, Aldridge, good challenge, BEARDSLEEEEEYYYYYYYYYY! OHHHHHHHHH THAT'S A LOVELY GOAL! THAT'S A LOVELY GOAL! And he even gets a kiss for it, from a man incidentally wearing a blue and white striped shirt!"

Thanks very much for being ‘This Mornings’ Farmer’

Haha **** yeah, just those images names. Smolarek, Boniek, Fenwick (he was so wank)....I'm sure it's mainly nostalgia but Mexico 86 seemed magical to me.

                Maradona obviously played his part.

The bloke whooping in the background when Lineker puts England 1 up. Never forget that.

Mexico '86 was my 'first' world cup, not the first i was alive for, but the first i have any memory of, and i remember it vividly.

Those were the days of loving football as a kid, blissfully unaware of the ****e side to it

Davies' cry of "Magnificent goal!!!!" on the 2nd goal is just iconic

I'm not a great fan but that is classic. Did you quote that from memory?
                        Oh I don't know.

Yep, watched it literally hundreds of times as a kid. Me and a mate used to recite to each other all the time.
