Will never forget watching the crushing disappointment of the playoff with Holland back in '95 in Anfield.
Played off the park. Great atmosphere that night though.....Completely green and orange.

Furthermore, England (obviously not involved with the playoffs) have arranged 2 ****ing friendlies for those dates, against Spain and Sweden.
Obviously they were going to play at least one but two FFS

FFS that play off draw makes me even more ****ing angry about international football. I'm sick of Scotland being a ****ing joke at international football when you have gash little countries like Estonia and Montenegro having a real chance of qualifying.

We royally ****ed up qualification for the last two tournaments when we should really have been getting to the play offs with ease. That defeat against Czech when Levein went 4-6-0 was the real death of it. If he had had some belief, that game could have been won, Czech haven't been this weak for 20 years.

****ers. Making me think about international football.

I guess I'd just like to see Scotland there and participate rather than getting my glee form England being ****.

Lineker moustache was milkshake, says spokesman

Match of the Day anchorman and former England striker Gary Lineker was the talk of social networking sites on Tuesday night after being seen to sporting a pencil-thin moustache.

The father-of-four showed off his new moustache during Tuesday night's Match Of The Day.

However, a spokesman for the Leicester-born presenter has claimed it was not in fact facial hair, but the residue of a chocolate milkshake which the former Spurs hitman had been drinking before he went on air.

"Gary was drinking chocolate milkshake before the cameras rolled and he was unaware of the residue left behind on his upper lip," said a spokesman. "He is keen to stress that he has not grown a moustache."

Lineker was not available for comment.

Do you really miss them going out at the group stages yet again that much?

As little as I care about Rooney, why are UEFA such thundercocks?

2 weeks since they banned Rooney for 3 games and now they are telling the FA to wait another week [at least] to receive a written report of why they made that decision.

I'm guessing it's going to be a 48pp report with the initial summary of reasons being "cunt".
