Apparently if the FA appeal, they risk having the ban extended

I'm glad UEFA have made an example of him as what message would it have sent out to the youngsters in the game if he got off with it?

Funny as **** though as all the england fans down south will be gutted.

Good news for United though as he'll get a summers rest.

He should be left out of the squad now, he can't play in the group stages and therefore we should be filling his place with someone who'd actually be able to play.

Of course he will go as he's Wayne Rooney and is up there with Messi, Fake Ronaldo Xabi, Iniesta etc.... (he is a good player but the hype drives me mad).

Yet they seem to forget he's only scored 3 goals in the past two years for England and 2 of those were tap-ins even Poulsen would have scored. Decided to look at the other players who have scored the same or greater number of goals than Rooney in the past two years.

                        Crouch x 6
                        Defoe x 4
                        Young x 4
                        Bent x 4
                        Gerrard x 3
                        ...
                        Rooney x 3

Pretty sure every one of these has had a lot less minutes on the pitch than Rooney too. Funny how this never gets mention on these Rooney wankfest radio shows. People also seem to forget that whilst the whole England squad were ****e at the WC, Rooney was by far the worst - he couldn't even trap the ball or make an accurate pass.

Bonkers innit. It's another accepted fact that Rooney is England's best and only "world class" (whatever that means) player. He has one decent game in ten for England and rarely performs against the better teams. He doesnt seem to be prepared to accept his role in the team and always trys to do it all himself. Messi he aint.

I think that this might actually be a blessing in disguise. England should play a 4-5-1 or 4-2-3-1 type formation. This will stop the midfield being overrun which is frequently a problem for them and actually have one striker who leads the line properly. Probably Gerrard in behind with Wilshire and Parker/Barry in the middle - Young, Walcott, Downing etc on the wings....

....and if England do get out of their group, Rooney's a pretty decent reserve/sub to bring in/on.

What the hell is ratboys brother on about? Prick.

Rooney banned for three games what a joke - if it was a Dutch, Spanish, Italian or German player they wouldn't even get one game #fact

no shock really is it, it's rat boys brother!

Rooney was a complete mong as ever, deserved the red and there was always a chance it was going to be extended I suppose.
