Blackburn manager Steve Kean says he did not expect his team to be involved in another battle for Premier League survival this season.
Rovers, who escaped the drop with a 3-2 win at Wolves on the final day of last season, need to win their remaining two games to have a chance of staying up.
"I didn't expect it to come to this," said Kean, whose side host Wigan on Monday.
"We have to make sure we stay up. I'm still convinced we can do it."

I'd search the post some Blackburn fan posted, but **** knows how I'd go about it. It was so detailed and outlandish I never thought anyone would make up something like that. Not that I'm too bothered, but there was/is something clearly fishy about the fact a no-mark manager got to stay on all season to take a club down, when the whole stadium and all fans were continuously trying to oust the hapless manager. Something just stinks there, and it ain't a bucket of chicken.

If you go back to that program they did on the whole Asia stuff with what's the pricks name, some Ex-United player and how he whored out clubs 'I can get you a manager that does as he's told, I can get you XYZ players etc. etc., it does indeed set some alarm bells ringing; however mostly with regards to some of the deep reporting I read over here in Germany when the whole German referee scandals involving Serbian/Croatian/Eastern mafia, with players up and down the country and in Europe paid off (they go for the players/refs/etc. who gamble, get them all sweet into high figure debt etc.), with a Godfather type figure who resided in the Netherlands and basically pulling all the strings not only in Europe, but mainly with huge betting syndicates in Asia who in turn were his investors... then I really don't believe it's that outlandish. It's a huge money industry and it's a piece of piss to keep revenue streams up, because of a) TV and b) fans that'll come until the day they die. It's all global, the whole betting stuff, Asia is much more untraceable.

I'd love to know more about the whole Blackburn fiasco. I hope - for the fans sake - heads will at some point roll. It is definitely quite ****ing damning that a manager who has done *nothing* in the game suddenly gets to manage for so long, coming up with completely ****ing crocked results every ****ing week, fans going completely ballistic throughout the season and he stays in the job like there's no tomorrow. Imagine if they hadn't had Yakubu (17 goals) this season - not that it mattered. But there's definitely something really ****ing fishy going on. I mean ****ing Neil Warnock was sacked and had QPR playing some proper good stuff early this season and they're on the brink of relegation now, yet Kean bobbles along all season without a care in the world.

I've just been trawling some Rovers forums, man, they're up ****'s creek. Basically, a lot of unsubstantiated rumours have been flying about (bwrfcs board) and they have now actively been moderating the forums to such an extent as to avoid legal libel and defamation action from the ****ing owners. Can you believe that?

I'm trying to get some more info. There is seriously something completely ****ed up, especially after I watched the interview with Tony Parkes (ex Blackburn player and Manager) from December 2011, just when Blackburn were about to play Bolton.

He alluded to in the video (and changed his facial expression (if you know what to look out for, you can tell there's something he wants to infer)) that if Blackburn lost or Bolton lost and a manager were to be sacked, it would 100% only be Coyle and not Kean. 'He's here to stay and fans better get used to it'. There is just some weird wording in the whole interview in the first couple of minutes... it stinks to high heaven.

I do just find it really strange that Kean has survived the season, he's been awful, and under alot of pressure. It does make you wonder about the motives of the owners because it looks like they don't give a **** about the club, so what are they in it for?
The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

I think they thought they could make a big profit - trim wages get in a big name towards the end of their career and up revenues from India etc. Not quite worked out that way - I think a lot of the owners of the last 10 years - Hicks and Gillett, Randy Lerner, Mike Ashley (initially at least), etc. have had the same ideas more or less.

I'm not sure how much Kean is to blame or is being used as a firebreak by the owners. It is certainly difficult to judge his work. When any of the players have talked in public they have been very supportive of him. It will be interesting to see where he ends up now - perhaps he is simply better at being a coach than a manager, but having to do things on the cheap certainly didn't help him.

                loL, surprise surprise!

Steve Kean says he will not quit Blackburn after relegation

Blackburn boss Steve Kean wants to stay to help rebuild Rovers after they were relegated from the Premier League.

Large sections of the Ewood Park crowd chanted "Kean out!" throughout Monday's 1-0 defeat by Wigan which sent Rovers down after 11 years in the top flight.

But afterwards Kean said: "I am not going to walk away.
"I will sit down with the owners and discuss a plan on how to assemble a squad to help us bounce back up straight away."

                  Interesting.

Definitely seems like they're ****ed. Any links?

I was thinking this too. Any other manager would've been given the sack a long time ago. Sort of adds a little bit of credibility about Kean being a part-owner of Blackburn. Perhaps.

Interestingly, they also locked the 105-page long thread about 'Steve 'Coco' Kean'.

I've also been trawling through some of the roverstalk.com forum and checked both their polls about Steve Kean staying on (must've been going on throughout the season) and 90+% wanting him sacked (brfcs) and 76% on roverstalk.

The whole thing stinks, especially this comment after relegation was confirmed:

After the defeat by Wigan and with relegation confirmed Kean says "I have spoken with the owners, like I do every day. We haven't mentioned what has happened tonight, but I am confident we will have a sit down and have a plan in place as quickly as possible."
I mean, you've been ****ing relegated 'and haven't mentioned what's happened tonight'?

It's a seriously messed up club and sky were disgraceful constantly hammering Blackburn fans for what they were doing last night. How dare supporters be upset at their club being wrecked by conmen on and off the pitch.

Shocking wasn't it, fans rightly want answers as it's quite frankly bizarre what has been going on there.

No accountability or explanation about what has gone on coming from Venkys or the manager whatsoever, I mean Kean seems bulletproof and how I have no idea.

The fans should stay away next season ,if its true what has been going on there.

The whole thing stinks. The false promises, CL football, Beckham, Ronaldinho etc, the debt getting bigger and bigger, good football people removed from the club, some woman from India who in her own words knows nothing about football running the club, players not getting played as they are due a new contract or bonus, Rochina was signed for 400k yet 1.6m went to an agent?! Jerome Anderson's involvement reaks, Steve Kean's son has been signed etc etc.

And they get stick for not supporting the team when they are about to be relegated!
