Suppose you have a physicist and a sociologist standing at the side of a field, observing a set of events unfolding on the field. The physicist does [describes] it using the terminology of mass and velocity and frequency of radiation and the rest. And the sociologist does it by describing it as a rugby match.

May the Lord bless this post.

Napoli outplayed Citeh for much of the game tonight.

I think that this is the problem with modern day football, too many teams pay too much respect to teams that are supposed to be unbeatable. Man Utd have made a career out of it, teams go there trying to defend a 0-0 start, and inevitably they end up conceding.

If only a few more teams tried to take teams on, football would be so much better for it.

It happens to United reasonably often in Europe.

In the PL, too many **** managers are too far up Ferguson's arse to believe they can get a result against him.

It's like when Man United came to Anfield.

Be lovely to see the mancs get a tough draw for once.

I know we all said their group was ****e but when you have one really **** team in a group, who are unlikely to take points of any of the others, it effectively becomes a 3 team shoot out. One simple slip up and you can be out . Basel seem a bit better than i gave them credit for but really the mancs should have breezed through that group. Shame Shouldnt have picked a second string eleven against Basel at home......nice to see baconface's arrogance turning round and smacking him in the face

Same happened to us last time we were in it with Us, Lyon, Fiorentina and Debrecen. All beat Debrecen home and away (i think) leaving a 3 way shoot out which we fooked up.

All the pressure in on manU.
Nah, surely no Premiership team would be **** enough to get knocked out at the group stage at the hands of Basel.

If we are all only happy when we are really winning in the end, when your race finishes, what life would that be?
