Actually, i dont think it'll make any difference.

If Basle win and the mancs draw, Basle will be 1 point behind and will need to beat the mancs.

If Basle draw and the mancs draw, Basle will be 3 points behind - in which case, beating the mancs will leave them level on points, but Basle would have the better of the head-to-head results between them - and would therefore qualify ahead of Man Utd.
