As leading anti racism campaigners Kick it Out think it is a disgrace that you do not pick a player who has only played in 9 of the last 36 England matches. It is clearly about racism even though the 'victim ' had only played 1 of the 7 previous England games in that calendar year prior to the incident that has supposedly triggered this racist snub. It is clearly nothing to do do with that fact he is utterly crocked and not capable of playing at that level that often...

I think you're right to judge them harshly if they are indeed assuming this can only be about the court case. Ferguson himself said Ferdinand was not capable of playing so many games so close together as you get in an international tournament. He might be a cunt with an agenda, but he might be right. That's Hodgson's call...

I really hope KickItOut aren't going to damage their own cause by making assertions without fact. Unfortunately a lot of pressure groups do, though, so it wouldn't surprise me.

What's the diff between the two leagues?

One is head to head, which is versus an opponent for each weak, the person with the most points gets 3 points towards the standings table and whoever finishes with the most points wins the head to head comp.

The other is just based on all of the fantasy points you make over the whole competition. Ther person with the most fantasy point wins.

Got around to do my bet's on the tournament yesterday with these bet's:

France to win the tournament 12/1
Germany to win the tournament 7/2

Lewandowski top goalscorer 20/1
Ibrahimovic top goalscorer 30/1
Benzema top goalscorer 10/1

Top-2 group stages:
A: Russia, Poland 5/1
B: Netherlands, Germany 13/4
C: Spain, Croatia 25/4
D: France, Sweden 19/2

Some made with bigger chances than others obviously, but makes it more fun watching the groups. Anyone else made bets?

Still haven't decided who to bet on. I usually to a winning team/top scorer double.

Think I'm going to go Germany to win, but undecided on top scorer yet. Don't know whether to go for someone in a team that has an easier group (i.e a Russian striker) or go for someone like Gomez who is in a favourable team, but will be playing in tough games with perhaps less opportunities to score.

I think - wait for it - Torres (if he starts in the team) might get a few goals. It'd complete his weird story. Spain/Torres will be the bet for me.

I was thinking the same Reece, and the reason I havn't gone with a Dutch striker tbh. 3 very difficult games. The group A I suspect will be a low scoring one, and I only played Lewandowski because of the home turf. Greece for example hardly conceeds a goal a game. Moreover they will face the winners of the germany/netherlands group, so a good chance the team's won't make it past the QF.

I have a good feeling about Benzema considering the group and the chance of going further if they face either Italy or Croatia from group C. I think the top scorer will come from one of these two groups - but you never know

Torres is an interesting bet Shaggy, but i won't take it for what it's offered at right now.
