I'm not in the least bit bothered by this. I've seen how bad he made Chelsea this season and how quickly it got toxic. He'll do the same there too and he won't get a league title before it happens, too much quality opposition next season.

Did Klopp knock a mourinho Madrid out of the CL when Lewandowski got 4?

He's starting with a good keeper, the best really, one decent defender in Smalling and one decent striker in Martial. That's it. Needs to battle with Pep, Wenger, Conte, etc, for a whole host of PL ready players. Selling clubs will be licking their lips.

The thing is tough United are minted and what worries me is Mourinho knows what will be lacking from them. He'll buy a couple of good CBs and focus on giving them a strong spine and making them hard to beat.

I just hope his buddy Mendes flogs him a load of overpriced dross on huge wages ala Falcao but I think that Ronaldo going back there has become much more possible now.

I would love Utd to keep signing has beens like Falcao. Ronaldo firmly fits into that, though obviously still has a little bit about him. Like you say Mendes is an absolute weapon. He's already leaked the Mourinho news literally 1 minute after the FA Cup win. He will be giving zero ****s about Utds future or present.

Mendes is a ****ing parasite and I hope United become his gravy train now so he can get his slice of the action!

He's got one of the best keepers in the world. Was hoping De Gea would leave but probably stay now. Not sure why Smalling gets so much stick, I think he's an excellent young defender. Martial looks like he could be a very good player. Be interesting to see how Rashford and Lingaard get on next season. We'd be raving about them if they played for us.

But sure he'll get his usual hundreds of millions to spend, standard practice at United & standard practice wherever Mourinho goes. Pep & Conte will spend massive too. Hopefully we will

Lingaard is ****e, he won't get much of a looking next season and will end up at Sunderland for an inflated fee. Rashford though, he looks the real deal. It'll be interesting to see if he can develop under Mourinho.

Yep, he's awful, even the Manc's say squad player at best. Chris Smalling is the new Ben Foster for this "young" drivel isn't he?!

I couldn't care less whoever they appoint really. They have the pulling power to get anyone they want, whether they make the right decision for them is debatable. Mourinho back for them is going to make it even more horrible as a rivalry.

He's ok better than some of the ****e they have in the squad, 7 Goals and 6 Assists isn't a bad tally I suppose. Yeah Rashford looks annoyingly excellent. Hopefully a one season wonder.

Smalling was a bit of late bloomer but seems to have developed nicely & has time on his side for a CB. Curious to see how he'll develop under Mourinho alright with his defensive attitude. Going to be some toxic games vs Chelsea & us.

With Moyes and LvG destroying the club it was getting harder to hate something you laugh at every waking minute of the day. Mourinho will bring back the good old fashioned loathing. Hopefully without the success.

It's his last chance to build something worthwhile at a club, but even now, you could credit Van Gaal with putting in solid foundations.

He can stay there for 3-5 years, then go to PSG, and still have a swan song attempt at the Portugal job.
