Most Mancs I know don't want Mourinho, fully expect it to be the usual freak show with him at the helm with it going wrong in a couple of years as he descends further and further into his snide mentally unstable behaviour.

I call bull****. Whilst it's obviously easy to track whether someone has read an email or not, I've never heard of a system that will allow someone to know how long someone has read an email for. Unless they've got their own propriety email system.

Happy to be proved wrong though!

He requested a read receipt. That was it.
            Oh I don't know.

I've never heard of it either but doesn't mean it's impossible.

The email may have just contained a link and that's where the time on page is tracked.

I just hope his buddy Mendes flogs him a load of overpriced dross on huge wages ala Falcao but I think that Ronaldo going back there has become much more possible now.
thought them 2 had a fall out at Real Madrid?

Anything above a read receipt seems a massive invasion of privacy and is probably illegal if even possible. Also, I don't know about anyone else, but LVG doesn't strike me as being a guy that is all that IT savvy.

Why can't they tell him if he has a job or not though?

Most medium companies will send through mandrill/crm so they'd be able to get open rates, clicks and open times. Definitely nothing nefarious about that and standard practice.

In terms of time spent they would have to click through to a page that perhaps holds the video and track the time spent on that.

Although it sounds far too ridiculous in it's concept rather than in the execution.

Would it be to much to hope that Mourinho to Manure = Clough to Leeds

Louis van Gaal arrived at Manchester United's training ground on Monday morning with the club still expected to replace him with Jose Mourinho.

Forty-five minutes later, League Managers Association lawyer Paul Gilroy QC also drove into Carrington.

Gilroy is the same employment barrister who acted for David Moyes when he was sacked as manager by United in 2014.
