Scholes was talking about him needing another 18 months - 2 years, but he's taken a squad that has finished 4th and 5th on goal difference, managed by a fella they called past it. Then he's spunked near £200m on players clearly he chose, in fact he even got the amount of players he wanted if you followed his interviews in the summer. If he can't better that how can he stay in a job?

He also said the club is challenging for the title and not thinking of top 4 before the season started.
