Welbz has looked good this preseason from what little I have seen on him.

I think most of us thinking they will fail is because we want them too. That coupled with Moyes, its kinda the perfect storm of hate.
    *Except Michael, who died.

Basically Moyes knows how skint they are.

We will only find out how they are looking when they play the top 6 sides, Fergie had a good record in these games and would set his teams up well tactically to cover specific threats especially away from home. Not sure Moyes has that about him.

I also think they will struggle in Europe.

They were never going to fall apart but I think they will hit a period at some point in the season when they have a couple of dodgy results and they won't recover as quickly without SAF.

            it will come!

it's a long season for them, a club expected to challenge on all fronts - once the european games come and the moyes effect starts to kick in on the players, all of a sudden a few results go against them, they pick up a few knocks to a few players, and then they'll we shall see what they are made of

I wonder what the Everton fans think about Moyes now. From hero to **** off Gollum in a few months is probably close to the truth.

Shocking offer from United, surely Everton fans can't be happy with Moyes taking the piss out of them? I'd say a minimum bid should be £20m for Fellaini and £12m for Baines and then Everton might still say no.

Was always going to happen, been told United were well aware Fabregas didn't want to come before bidding it was just to appease the fans when they went in for Fellaini, they've won the first game so fans are on a high.

Without Fergusson I think they are pretty dependent on RvP to be a really top class team. they are however, clearly, still most likely to finish in the CL spots with ease.

Former Toffees boss David Moyes offered £16m for Fellaini, whose £23.5m contract release clause expired at the end of July.
United had a £12m bid for left-back Baines knocked back in June but have come back with the same offer.
                          That's pathetic on both counts.

This argument about them being **** if they didn't have RVP amuses me. It's a ridiculous argument. They DO have him, and that's the point. He is there to win them games, almost single handedly if needs be.

People used to say the same about us and Torres or Gerrard, and now Suarez.
                            Oh I don't know.

£23.5m clause has expired, therefore bid less! GENIUS

Well yes, but he's a player with a dodgy injury record so it's certainly possible that they won't have him available all season.
