As shocking as that is, I think the recordings that have him in them saying what he was saying are even more repulsive and hammer home what a dangerous animal he is.

I do not blame the woman for anything at all, not even going back to him if she has done that, because the victims of abuse, be they male or female, often go back to the abuser over and over and it is like a stockholm syndrome thing that has been beaten into them mentally and physically over time.

I just hope that if she has gone back that she gets away from him before he does anything else to her and that in time she finds a good life away from him and away from anyone that encourages her to be with such a person.

I wouldn't be comfortable standing in a stadium supporting one of our lads if evidence existed of them doing the same.

I already have to chat to my kids about this stuff at far too young an age because they learn about it through following football. Some important conversations (consent) to be had with boys, but does feel like they aren't able to be innocent for long.

I wonder how the non-pond life Man U support feel about this?

I would suggest that supporting the club, manager and the rest of the team would be difficult for you, for most of us I suspect, if we had someone like that accepted back into the fold at LFC.


That consent chat is very important to have with boys but also with the girls. Better to gain a bit of maturity early on at the expense of a little bit of innocence than risk them standing by or worse still, being involved in the taking of someone else's innocence.

I am not so sure.

Look at Partey at Arsenal.

Look at Ronaldo at many clubs.

Allegations, even ones that appear to have a very strong whiff of truth to them or some sort of video or other wise recorded information that appears to back the victim or victims, often get overlooked when things are going well on the pitch.

A big settlement and/or injuctions taking out against the media and/or individuals can prevent enough traction being gained.

Not sure we will see Che Neville and Saint Carragher saying anything about it. Not sure Sky Sports will let any of their female presenters discuss it.

Am sure the Eddie Howe get out of "Only discussing football" will be adhered to, until of course it suits them to discuss something else that is technically not on pitch related.
