He’s waaaay worse than ETH. If the win the Europa it papers over the cracks. Plus. As the article says how will they cope with the new CL format?

Their ability to get worse and worse is very enjoyable.
I like the fact that Man Utd (39) and Everton (42) have fewer points combined (81) than we do (83) and we are 36 games into the season

But the less than a point a game on average is hilarious

Its a good thing they're playing in a weak league. Could you imagine things for them if it wasnt?

I REALLY hope they lose against Spurs in the final. Spurs at least have a decent stadium!

On the BBC red button teletext thing there’s a story about their Europa League Final. In summary…..
No parade if they win, instead a barbecue at Carrington for the players
Travelling to Bilbao on the day
2 free tickets per player but they can buy up to 10.
Players family have to organise their own travel
No free tickets for staff, instead a “watch party” in Manchester.

When I read about the barbecue I thought someone at the BBC has done a Shaggy edit.

You'd think for the 20 or so staff left they would pay travel for

Sorry - do you mean the players aren’t travelling to Bilbao until the day of the game?!?!

You’d think the players could cover the payment for staff if the club won’t.

Manchester United will hold a barbeque at the club's Carrington training ground to celebrate if they beat Tottenham Hotspur in next week's Europa League final.
And no parade is planned should they win the tournament.
Players are also being restricted to two free tickets each for the match, with on-the-day travel to the final in Bilbao on Wednesday, 21 May.
The decisions come after a series of cost-cutting measures at the club which have included redundancies and the removal of free lunches for staff.
While United's squad have been told they can purchase up to 10 more tickets for the game against Spurs at San Mames Stadium, they will also be responsible for organising how friends and relatives get in and out of the northern Spanish city.
United say they are committed to ensuring as many tickets as possible from the club's official 15,000 allocation go to supporters.
At the weekend it was revealed staff will not receive free tickets for the game as previously used to be the case. Instead a viewing party is being hosted in central Manchester.

Most of the staff probably don’t want to watch their ****e team, & who could blame them.

The on-the-day travel might be for the two free tickets. Not clear.

Apparently the players are the only ones who still get a free lunch at Carrington.
