Players like Romario,Muller,Fowler,Inzaghi,Butragueno,Pauleta,R aul,Owen etc were goal scorers,poachers,opportunists & had no all round game didn't do them much harm. Hernandez is decent, would probably be good for 20 odd goals a season given a regular starting place.
If the games not going for you though it'll be like playing with 10 men, as he's only really useful in front of the penalty spot.The times they are a changin'.Comment

Not at the top level they won't. Raul, Fowler and Romario had much much to their game than just goal scoring. Hernandez as a starter takes too much from the rest of the team to be effective.
