Man Utd's fans at Goodison - having already unveiled a JFT39 banner - now singing "Justice for the 39."

    Tony Barrett ‏@TonyBarretTimes 3h
More boos at Goodison. This time after a chant of Justice for the 39 from the away end.

I guess they're too simple to understand what justice means.
      Oh I don't know.

The "support for David Moyes" thread at redcafe makes depressing reading. They really are going to get rid in the summer aren't they?

I've changed now - I think they'll sack him in the summer. Today was one humiliation too many.

It's their toned down version of murderers really. You'd think they'd get punished by the FA for that sort of chant.

As one pointed out in the support thread:
Man Utd have picked up 6 points and dropped 30 from the 6 teams above us.

Out of 12 games against the teams above us we've managed 3 draws and 1 win.
              I think so to

                In 2014 they've played 22, lost 10.

Worse than Roy when he was with us.

will be sacked in summer, there are some half talented footballers there, playing for a half wit of a manager.

I think the tide has fully turned against him now. Utd fans in my Facebook and Twitter are fuming and calling for his head. Up until now they've all made a joke of the results or towed the party line. Unless fergie is too arrogant to see he's made a massive mistake then he'll be gone in the summer.

Even if he is sacked in the summer United's standing in football has been damaged and players who might have potentially signed for them 12 months ago probably wouldn't go anywhere near them now. They will have to throw megabucks at players and take a huge gamble to attract anybody decent which is obviously very risky!

Just reading the Welbeck article on the Beeb and they've provided this useful stat:

                        Did you know?

Welbeck scored more goals for England than United last season, scoring three times in seven matches for Roy Hodgson's side (strike rate: 0.43 goals per game), compared to twice in 40 appearances under then Reds boss Sir Alex Ferguson (strike rate: 0.05).

The squad certainly needs an overhaul, but they have a handful of players that could provide the spine for a short-term fix - Van Gaal maybe?

Anyway, they're going to have to sell a lot of their players to fund this major overhaul. Can they cope with such a dramatic change to the team?

I'm worried that they'll get Van Gaal, who was once asked by Man Utd to be considered to take over from Ferguson a decade ago.

I hope they stick with Moyes, but I just can't see it. A lack of clear cut chances, and a squad that went from 1st to 7th. I know we went from 2nd to 7th, but we were in a mess off the pitch. Moyes has had nothing but stability, and tons of money to spend.
