The best hope we have is that they use Brendan 'needing a season' to turn us round as a precedent and believe that next season Rooney and RvP can be their Suarez and Sturridge, with Janujaz their Sterling and Mata their Coutinho. Under a more than decent manager that would certainly seem possible. It would be easy to make the case that their defense could be as good as ours at least.

      MOTD fact:
Moyes has been in charge of 51 Utd games and he's named a different starting 11 in each one

Really is a great way to promote the club. The mancs spend a great deal of time claiming how bitter we are after 24 years without a title, it's amazing how bitter they already are after less than 9 months of failure. I especially like the "Scouse *******s" at the end of the video.

          Enjoy lads

Ha! 99 games with changes to starting XI in consecutive games, rather than 99 completely different XIs regardless of order.

                  We dodged a bullet there.
Massive bullet dodged. Always amazes me when people talk about United's core moving forward and include Jones. He is ****ing ****e. Not even in control of his own limbs. Positionally he is disastrous, and he plays like he's stuck inside a tumble dryer. I would absolutely love it if they went with Jones and Smalling as their CB pairing. It's mid-table at best.

“I think everybody knows that we are on track to make changes and do some different things,” Moyes said.

“We are rebuilding, we have got things we want to do. Today there were things that were not that good, but there were things that were good. We need to try and get rid of the bad things and do better with the things we should have done.”

For years I've had some Man Utd fans who I went to school with mocking us saying every year "next year will be our year" Yesterday their comment after the game was "this wasn't our year, next year will be".

Sadly he won't be there come the start of next season.

I don't think the players are playing for him, the older ones especially. He's had no support from the seasoned pros. My one hope is that the board will see this, allow him to bring in his own players and see how things go then.

                              One more season please.

Try being quietly sympathetic with any Manc supporting mates. You'll enjoy the reaction and feel good about yourself too.
