Who are they going to finish above to get top 4 ? Us ? Highly unlikely. Arsenal ? They're the masters of the 4th place finish. I'd say even finishing above Spurs and Everton will be very difficult for them.Originally posted by G View PostIs it too much to hope they miss CL again and go full Leeds?
With an utter mess of a squad and a manager who so far has looked like a clueless old man I can't see it.

Even if Van Gaal does turn it around it won't happen overnight and by the time he does they'll be so far off the top 4 it won't matter.Originally posted by vlahka View PostI'll admit I'm a little worried they'll put through with these new signings. They can clearly afford it after the stupidly insane sponsorship they recently got.

I think it will end up being owned by hedge funds and investment houses which means it will be run solely for a profit rather than sporting enterpriseOriginally posted by EwarWoo View PostExactly.
Rich sugar daddies come in for someone they can grab on the cheap and do up. Villa would be more of the type of target they'd go for.
Aye, of course that all makes sense- doesn't stop me worrying though!
Haha.Originally posted by PTP View PostUtd getting Di Maria and Falcao is like giving some who needs heart surgery, fake tits.
More evidence of your fakery.Originally posted by Pablo View PostI just saw myself quoted there and thought "who's Pablo?"

Except we never had the infrastructure in place.Originally posted by EwarWoo View PostIf they wanted to spunk a wedge on a marquee club we'd have been with a sugar daddy now.
TBH I'm glad we're not as well, it feels better earning it
And aye, it feels great to have the soul of our club back post-G&H & Bodge. ****ing great.3rd place. Worst champions ever.

Possibly. They dont play Chelsea till the end of august so theres plenty of games for them to sort out a few issues and then take points off the larger teams. There was a stage where the main reason they won titles was because of ronaldo. If di maria and falcao link up well then we could see plenty of goals. Not too sure why some are laughing and shrugging this off as a bad deal for them.Originally posted by ~LFCHistory~ View PostEven if Van Gaal does turn it around it won't happen overnight and by the time he does they'll be so far off the top 4 it won't matter.
