Still amazes me that people really think Man u will decend into mid table mediocrity under Moyes.

Imo they wont, the club simply wont allow it to happen, he'll be given a certain amount of time and some massive signings imo, which will be enough to have them in the top 4 regular.

Obviously they wont reach the heights of the previous manager, but no club ever will imo, if we manage to finish above utd once in the next 3 years i'll be amazed, especially if we miss out on top 4 this season.

That's where i think we are as a club in comparison to them right now, regardless of their bad start under Moyes.

Imo we must, or it's one step forward two steps back, and it'll depend imo on how soon they get their top two players back playing.

We simply have to take advantage of this gift, because had DBF not resigned, then we'd likely be in a worse position, with atleast one less spot up for grabs.

We're effectively 7 points ahead of them and whilst they have some good players in the squad they also have some aging players and the dinosaur football tactics isn't helping either.

Well yeah, me too, but some sound like they think Moyes will get utd relegated

I just think they are too powerfull a club to let things slip long term is all. (but i'll keep saying my prayers before bed just in case. )

My Man United supporting brother sees no problem with the former CEO and former manager buying players the current manager doesn't want. This amuses me,not much though cos they are buying good players

Possibly or perhaps Moyes hasn't got a ****ing clue what he's doing on the pitch and in the transfer market ?

TBH my gut feeling is that Ferguson played a major part in this, I'm sure he's desperate to see Moyes succeed because it was his appointment after all and if that means he has to back DM with huge amounts of money to spend on players they don't need (Feilani, Mata) then so be it.
