What is the obsession with wanting to appoint all their former players? Surely having so many long serving players complaining that this isn't how we used to do things and running off to talk to Ferguson about anything and everything is part of the problem. If these reports are accurate then they will try and spend their way out of the hole. Say Cavani for 60, Shaw for 30, Kroos for 40 and Fabregas for 40. That's 170 million just there on just four players. I have doubts over Cavani in the Premier League, Shaw is not the best at defending but the other two would be good, although there is no guarantee. That leaves the Rooney problem and the crazy wage they are going to dish out as compensation for the players missing out on the CL.* The above is posted in my opinion. Feel free to disagree.Comment
