Yep, he'll be a good asset for them, plays in a few positions. You'd presume they want him for DM with Shaw there but you never know.

In the end, they are an attractive club to join regardless of lack of CL football for a season, as they have a huge fanbase, a proud history, a winning mentality (debatable obviously since Ferguson retired), big stadium etc.................plus they pay extremely well, even in the nouveau riche world of football. If we step aside from our natural animosity towards that club, I think we have to accept that.
Yes, there's obiviously a top-tier of talent who are hard to attract, or prise away from their current employers, but it's foolish to think they'll miss out on everyone they move for, purely based on what we'd like to see happening.

FWIW I think Blind is a decent player from what we've seen of him.....not a great player, but a good one.

Think they'll be winning today as well, so get ready for all the 'they're back' etc etc*
