I get that Irish lads are split down the middle about him after what happened in Saipan. Despite my 75% Irish blood and heritage, I couldn't give a **** about that and so I find him increasingly likeable and funny as ****. Always hated him at United but at the same time always had a grudging admiration for him - mostly since that amazing performance he gave in Turin against Juventus.

Forgetting Saipan and all that madness it's just his personality for me. Horrible aggressive and confrontational *******.. i hate that type of person. He always looks like he's a split second from smashing someone's face in. Actually met him at City West Hotel in Dublin years ago one of the lads was a staunch United supporter loved Roy Keane, was his hero we were only teens. Keane was walking up the stairs on his own, mate asked him for an autograph & Keane told him to **** off

It was hilarious at the time for my mates that were LFC supporters but he really was is a complete and utter ******. It's mostly only United fans or some people from Cork that like Keane from what i can see over here. He was a world class footballer though and that cannot be taken away from him. But he's a **** manager & a crap pundit.. wouldn't say it to his face though

He's obviously intense as **** and wouldn't be the sort of bloke I'd want to hang around with, but from afar I enjoy his contributions to the game of football.

I think I would like him if he didn't do that revenge foul on Haland. Even if it wasn't the career ending incident it was said first, I find Keane's action absurd and dislikable.

Yep that was absolutely disgraceful. People bang on about Suarez as though he's some sort of terrorist or mass murderer....yet what Keane did then was a thousand times worse than anything Suarez ever did or is likely to do.
