He's correct, but why compare them with Liverpool, why not themselves or any other side below them? Is he trying to score points with the fans?

I'm not expecting to win either of them. This place will be grim for the next few weeks. I hope our season isn't over by the Sturridge comes back.

Comments will be generally upbeat but Rodgers will still be questioned if we scab 6 points as opposed to played well for them.
