Thanjk you.

I think this a good point, and not only in Holland, if you look to Portugal, France, Germany and Spain you have loads and loads of promising players we can go after, there is so much talent out there, much more than we realize, our scouts just work in mysterious ways.
France and Germany in particular seem to have a big crop of young players coming through who are a nice blend of physicality and skill.
Germany has a load of young midfielders (CM, AM, and CDM) that look to be ready for a step up to a big club. Guys like Geis come to mind. Seems to be a lot of very good young german goalkeepers as well.
France seem to have plenty of attackers and defenders/defensive midfielders coming through the ranks and also young players in those positions that are based in other leagues. Laporte being the pick of their young defenders in my eyes, but guys like Zouma, and Varane look to have a world of talent as well.
And as obvious as some of the talented players are to mugs like us on a web forum, there should be loads more on the radar of any good scouting network, the question being whether or not our scouting network looks at the obvious or delves that bit deeper.
I don't hate people. I just feel better when they aren't around.

Isn't Laporte spanish? Or maybe both? Anyway, there should be no problem staffing the club with very promising and good players using our budget and wages. We just need to stop being so limited in our approach.
* The above is posted in my opinion. Feel free to disagree.
There are a lot of young and youngish players there that look like they might be able to take a step up.
They have already bought one of them in Depay, but there are also guys like Wijnaldum, Bruma, Cillessen, Fischer, Maher, Willems, Clasie, Klaassen, Narsignh, Castaignos, and many other in that league that look as though they are good enough to play in a stronger league.

Just to add to your remarks regarding Germany. Google reports Thomas Muellers salary as 5 million Euros, Gotze as 7 million, Neuer at 6 million. Just to get a sense of perspective, Sterlings wage demand at 150000 pounds per week comes to 10 million euros. We should have scouts combing through the German league.

Yep a huge difference between what top class and world class players earn in Germany to what lower level players can earn in England.
And it is not as though the players in Germany have a better tax rate as top earners are on 45% in each country afaik.

Manchester United have decided not to keep Radamel Falcao following the end of his season-long loan from Monaco.
