Had a call with Analysts on this today - Glazers preparing to take increase debt to take bigger dividends - Enhances risk but limited so markets are so so happy. Bizarre but US Advertisers not touching them at the moment, but market still okay .....
Reading between the lines and with a very good source
Utd are a cash cow at present - I think they receive 100-150m more in commercial revenue that City/LFC/Chelsea. That said, Adidas won't follow given limited Pogba impact on the UK and FE market. New signings won't be part realised via sponsors this coming season.
They have serious cash to spend, but no CL in 17/18 will impact revenue given Adidas and Chevrolet have clauses on participation, revenues will fall.
Expect to see a massive clear out if no CL, but a mini one if C/L is acquired
Ferguson remains as the second highest paid UK director on the UK books.........I make no apologies, this is me
