I do not think we can write them off. His **** tactics are very effective.

I can see us slugging it out with them for second. I think it will be a lot closer at the top though. I dont think City will pick up as many points and we should improve.

I think Mourinho knows he doesnt have the resources to match City... or us... they are just too far behind in quality. I think players are starting to get turned off by his tactics and behaviour. Slagging off your team in the way that he did is a bit ****ty. Hardly building the confidence of those younger players trying to push on to the first team. Makes you appreciate Klopp so much more. His enthusiasm is infectious. I dont think we need to pay ridiculous wages to persuade players to come.

It's comments like that which tend to damage his relationships with players and results in the individuals and eventually the team not wanting to play for him. I think how the players react to him this year will make be key as to whether they push on and challenge for the title playing his ****ty football or whether it all falls apart and they are looking for a new manager in the next year or so.

The idea that he hasn't got the resources is BS. He has spent more than Klopp while they have both been here but Klopp has brought in alot more that Mourinho through sales. Mourinho is pissed that he isn't getting his own way as other clubs can also spend top dollar on players and the playing field isn't tipped heavily in his favour.

Same could have been said about the Chelsea squad he had in his final season there. Once he gets his itchy feet syndrome, he becomes absolute posion to the team he manages.
