The mood over at the cafe is glum to say the least, the general feeling was pretty well summed up by one of them: "Aw, are we playing today " Poor *******s, couldn't have happened to a nicer bunch.

A couple of my UTD friends at the start of the season would choose player for player 3/4 of their team to ours because their players were better, it was the manager that was making poor decisions. Now its the complete reversal. Manager is doing fine, players arent good enough, need a mass clear out. Which is it, players, manager, or is it both?

OGS is picking another formation from his big yellow book of Management for Dummies.

            Diamond formation this time!

We've not seen a Christmas tree formation since England in Euro 96. They can try that next week

Its the only way they are going to win again before everyone has their Christmas tree out.

Ed Woodward giving Ogs a 3 yr deal rather than waiting till the end of the season and going for Poch is even more laughable now.

Yep. He's totally out of his depth, thankfully a fluke hot streak at the start has got him at least most of next season. He's even more negative than Mourinho too which is some feat, they've barely created a chance at home to us, PSG, Barca, Chelsea and City. Pitiful club.

I think they’ve really ****ed themselves in the transfer market also.

There are a few cautionary tales within the squad. Sanchez, Pogba and Lukaku have all gone for big bucks and have not progressed.

I think they will struggle to bring genuine talent in

They will get the odd mercenary, but I don’t see any serious players being that enthused about playing for OGS at OT.

We’ve been there for many years so we know for sure how difficult a cycle that is to break.

They are going to have to suck off raiola just to fetch them some wankstain mercenary who will want 200k a week to warm the bench.
removing all the weak links makes us stronger

too many gutless players, no beef or desire. pussies everywhere... sack them all.

We're witnessing the Leedsification of Man Utd. They'll lose all their top talent, struggle to replace them with quality and sink to mid-table mediocrity.

                            What a glorious time

The Leeds situation came about from not having the money after not making the CL. Man Utd are still one of the richest clubs in the world, still pay massive pages and are still viewed as a big club across the world. OK they might not be able to attract the very best players and they may finish bottom of the top 6 but I don't think that they'll sink below that.
The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

7th, 4th, 6th, 5th and 2nd last season with a potential 6th place finish again. What a sequence! This will be their 6th year of non-contention (discounting last season as the gap to the top was huge) and they're still attracting good players and can finance high wages.

                                Can't last for ever though
