    #BruceIn would be phenomenal
    Football without Origi is nothing

Afterwards Solskjaer was asked where things were going wrong. Honestly, you may as well have asked him to explain the internal combustion engine. “That’s human beings” he said in response to a question about why so many garlanded footballers were playing so drastically within themselves, and from his perspective it probably is that bafflingly simple. Humans. They play football. Sometimes they win. Sometimes they lose. Either way, enjoy it.

Tbf, i should probably delete this as it's their best chance of staying relevant

I agree 100% …..with the part of your post where you disagree with the rest of your post, haha

CL is worth so much to a team. Both in terms of revenue and in terms of attracting top talent.

Tbh I’m surprised how big an appeal they still have, for players. This season will be 10 seasons without winning a title and 10 consecutive seasons finishing behind city! Manchester is blue, don’t know why big players still go there (other than the money).

This is the one I keep expecting to happen but so far so good

United are too big and too rich to keep making the same mistakes indefinitely. Wealth and power are like an infinite supply of lottery tickets; one day, eventually, you’ll nail it

in reality it is the money that makes them attractive right now......

I think only a totally new structure and some patience will help them at this stage.

I would even argue that the green & gold brigade have contributed a lot to their demise. In a bid to appease the fans, they brought back Ronaldo. Thinking he was the savior was crazy. And to be honest I am pretty happy if he bangs in 20 goals a season and they sing his name every week. Because in reality, he is limiting the progression of the likes of Rashford (my god, he has regressed..... he was hot **** when he came through under Van Gaal. Under a good manager, he could have been a top striker) Greenwood etc.

I wonder will Michael Edwards rock up at Old Trafford with the remit to improve the football organisation.

Imagine we had signed a winger for £75m and he hadnt scored, or assisted and was mainly benched after 12 games.

I feel for Sancho, but he and they are always 100% protected when they sign players and they struggle. I suspect it is the 'English' angle where any national team player is above criticism. Throw in the Man U power, and you have a pretty robust layer of media protection.
                Modifying post.

When you have as many transfer **** ups as they do over the last few years, its more news when a player actually turns out to be decent

i think Ronaldo took a lot of the gloss off Sancho, as their flagship attacking signing. After they regressed this season, the debate seems to be whether Ronaldo makes them worse as a team, even if he’s playing well. I think if it wasn’t for Ronaldo there’d be a lot more emphasis on how Sancho seems to have flopped.

Also agree about how English players get a pass, but that’s hardly specific to United- but ya look at that dope maguire last week putting his hands to his ears after scoring against San Marino, and then he makes a comical error and gets sent off a few days later- if that’s a foreign player he’d get called out by every pundit out there. Granted they have bigger fish to fry at the moment, but he’d have come out of it relatively unscathed anyway (if keane wasn’t on the panel).

Haha, maybe in a roundabout way, but I feel like they only went in for Ronaldo when they saw he might be going to city… a bit like with maguire, and Sanchez, actually! Haha.

Those green and gold bellends are a bunch of jokers too. Sounness hit the nail on the head at the time of the pitch invasion- they complain about the owners when they’re losing, and not a peep out of them when they’re playing well. At the end of last season they were pushing for them to leave, after the super league and some bad results… then they get Ronaldo, Sancho and Verane and they’re all happy again… and then they turn out ****e and they kick off again.

Apart from defenders, they do have a very strong group of individuals. Well coached and motivated, they would be challengers. Surely only a matter of time until they are if they don’t do something stupid like give the job to a novice or a bum.

Closer to £10m, plus further to come when the rest of them go. Told all upfront, via a tax benefit country.

I’ve a horrible feeling that a competent manager could do pretty well there with a few additions in midfield. Though Ronaldo would have to be binned, along with Pogba. And Maguire.

Roy must be fuming at not being mentioned at all for the interim gig. He’ll be crunching his smints and rubbing his face.
