That's coercive control for you. Especially when you throw in the amount of money he's getting paid.

What's happening with his endorsements and sponsors? They must want nothing to do with him.

His case is more high profile here than the likes of Mendy and Partey. Will imagine the fans, of opposition sides at least, will really go after him.

I'd be very surprised if that goes ahead, absolutely no upside on this for Utd, only a massive bullock drop PR wise. I know a temperature check with sponsors has been done, but to do a interview about this episode is like Matt Hancock sharing his whatsapps with a serial backstabber.

I don't blame her in the slightest tbh.

Escaping an abuser can be very difficult and by all accounts a chunk of her family allegedly put pressure on her. Guessing they like the cash side of things that might come from being around Greenwood.

There are people setting bad examples in all of this imo, but they are the scumbag who batters a woman and forces her to have sex with him, and the other people trying to pressure that young woman to stay with an abuser.

The only thing she is in all of this is a victim that appears to be surrounded by toxic enablers of the abuser.

Horrible to think that she possibly may be back receiving the same treatment again and now probably feels that it is just how things are when it comes to people with more money/influence.


Think what it does highlight is the importance for all of us, especially those of us that are men, to ensure we never abuse others physically/mentally, that we provide positive role models for any one that might be influenced by us, and that if we are in a situation in our day to day lives where we can help a victim, even in a small way, that we do not look the other way if asked for help.
