I hope you're right too but, other than whoever it was that offered to play for €1 a week in Spain, generally players follow the moneyOriginally posted by SB View PostWho’s talking about a golden ball? I’m talking about playing for passionate fans at a bouncing stadium & being adored by fans. And I may be deluded but I’ll not give up hope until the fat lady sings

Going to Madrid can go both ways, depending on how he performs. You can be treated as a galactico or a turd that won’t flush.Originally posted by Norbs View PostI hope you're right too but, other than whoever it was that offered to play for €1 a week in Spain, generally players follow the moneyMe, I’m either planning a holiday or I’m on one.

I’m not deluded, I never said we’re definitely getting him, or anything. My point is that, as he’s only 19 and has many years ahead of him, he might not want to just follow the money right now- if he was motivated mainly by money, we wouldn’t be able to compete with man city/Madrid.
He might look at us, and know that he’d be joining a top team, but also be more or less guaranteed to be starting in midfield regularly.I don't tip

It is, but there was also no way sancho was going to post the type of numbers he did in the Bundesliga even if he did take a more sensible choice of club.Originally posted by frank the tank View PostSuch an example of how picking the totally wrong transfer can **** up your career. In reality he is going to be earning shedloads of cash at United - rumoured to be 350k per week - but his footballing career has nosedived and the fact that he went for 80m or whatever and didnt make the world cup squad says a lot.
Hopefully that will all be noted by the Jude Bellingham camp when making his move away from dortmund.
I think shaggy (or someone else) made a point about how england have genuinely class players over the next few years with Foden and Bellingham still babies but in reality if Sancho didn't **** himself up by going to old Trafford and Mason Greenwood didn't go all rapey, then they'd have been set up with some genuinely class attacking talent for the next 10 years
Part of why he was so effective was because of how the league is usually a yard slower than the avg. prem player.
Bellingham seems a more influential player for dortmund than sancho ever was (although this is not borne out of goal and assists stats) and his game is less reliant on pace.
Even at dortmund, sancho could be a very wasteful player with the ball. Some games he might score one and assist one but also cough up possession quite a bit.Y.N.W.A!!!!!!
