    It might be possible, but extremely unlikely, it requires 6 teams below them to get to 39/40 points which I can't see

      Unless they got a points deduction for breaking FFP. Imagine that, the Ev get relegated & Bournemouth get a reprieve after Chelsea cop a 15 point deduction & the Ev miss out by a single point from safety.

                    A big points deduction for a mass brawl during a game should sort that.


                    Pity they do not have to play Leeds again. Be a good game for that brawl and a 20 point deduction for both teams.

                    Chelsea, Leeds and Everton all then going down.
