Ha, half of Knightsbridge is owned by them anyway!

Looks like Sterling is staying put at Chelsea. And they're getting Sancho in to replace him anyway?

      Mad club.
      Oh I don't know.

Maybe going to Arsenal. I hope Arsenal waste a ton of money on him.

not going to play ahead of Sakha - for that money doesn't make any sense to me -£15m in wages plus £5-£10m loan fee - Expensive
I make no apologies, this is me

He could play wide left for Arsenal.

Martinelli is good but they’d probably rotate.

              More madness. It defies belief.

Rumour is no fee and 50% of his wages. Not a bad deal for the Gooners and Sterling, but Chelsea continue to throw money away. Nice precedent set for clubs negotiating deals for the raft of players on long term contracts who fail at the club in future.

The dressing room at Chelsea seems a bit odd, more so with Sancho coming in now, no obvious leaders there really, maybe someone is stepping up but it would look like they lack a bit of positive characters.
                  * The above is posted in my opinion. Feel free to disagree.

If that's true then it's a no lose situation for Arsenal

Nicholas Jackson has just signed a NINE YEAR contract at Chelsea.

Why would anyone in the right mind do that?
                        Oh I don't know.

I understand why he would sign it from a financial security perspective, but why would Chelsea offer that????

                            I don't understand why he'd sign it.

He's literally stuck there now unless another club wants to buy him, and that would be a big if, looking at the state of their outgoings this summer.

If I'm a player at a club (i.e. not moving to a new one), I'd want a 3-4 year contract, which gives me the option to get a Bosman at some point, or a pay rise in the interim if the club wants to keep me longer.

There is barely any incentive in signing up to a 9 year contract. Would his wages even keep pace with inflation, let alone football inflation?
                            Oh I don't know.

Depends on the terms of the contract. But in a job where an injury in the next game can derail your whole career, someone guaranteeing to pay you tens of millions over a nine year period sounds great.
