Not sure if Chelsea are in the position to spend in that bracket. There's some uncertainty with the owner who's probably looking to balance the book and then sell off.

They've spent more than anyone last two summers with a total outlay of at least 210m (Jorginho, Kepa, Pulisic, Kovacic), so the idea that they've been held back by lack of transfers in not true.

They do need a CB for sure, but who is available in Jan that could come in and plug the gap?
