Just thinking about the ticketing situation. Assuming they aren't given some special dispensation for selling tickets, I'm wondering if they'll give tickets away for free as a workaround to avoid empty stadiums. Any reason this wouldn't be allowed?

I was thinking they might do that but in a roundabout way you could argue that they are benefiting financially as 10,000 extra bodies in the stadium will put for cash through the refreshment stalls which are allowed to operate. Then you have to consider if the catering has been contracted out. Would a third party caterer suffer if the free tickets cannot be given away as they will have bid for the tender assuming more people would be at the matches.

would be a nice idea to gift them to local clubs & schools but regulations will prevent this
