Wenger has been exceptionally good for Arsenal but they are at a crossroads. The same problems have recurred year after year of late. Something needs to change for teh way they are looking to defend and build a defence.
OK, I'll give you that. If Guardiola was available then yes, freshen it up but Wenger has consistently produced great or very good teams.

He has his flaws but knows how to win the league.

Plus, Pep likes playing Mascherano as a centreback he'd fail in England

Just seen this tweeted - surely can't be true!

Arsenal Supporters Trust meeting tonight has discovered they spend £130m on wages. £40m more than Spurs.

They are big wage payers, were above us for a good few years but think we overtook them very recently, might be different now though after we got rid of a lot of the ****e like Degen, Jova, El Zhar, Poulsen etc in the summer. Thats why it always makes me laugh when it's said they spend as much as Bolton or something.

Yeah just because they have this apparent pay ceiling which they wont go through doesn't mean that they don't have a load of players on a decent whack

Was looking at the figures quoted for RVP's last contract, around 80k.

Also those figures will take in Fabregas, Clichy, Nasri and Eboue all of whom must have been paid a fair bit

I dont think Hodgson would be right for Arsenal. They need someone who's not afraid to take a chance and sometimes take risks in dangerous situations.

Can you imagine Roy ever doing this, for example? I rest my case.

The thing is though they've had the nucleus of a good side for the past few years, they need a few extra players to take them on to the next level and win trophies, but Wenger seems reluctant to spend money to bring them in.
The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.
