Carroll was named in the travelling squad to face FC Gomel of Belarus as Brendan Rodgers leads Liverpool in his first competitive game as manager on Thursday.
Providing there are no acceptable late bids prior to Liverpool boarding their flight on Wednesday morning, he is likely to participate in the qualifying round.
Lets just keep him FFS. He was just coming good and I think he can do a decent job in this new system. At worst he is a great sub to throw on when we are struggling.

Could it be that we needed to sell Carroll to fund new players and now that he doesn't want the move, we are selling Agger?
I don't get why this should be the case? We have just signed a massive deal with Warrior as well as improving other deals. We have also, like the rest of the league, got money from the record breaking TV deal.
If we need to sell now to buy players, something is wrong! Our wage bill has already been slashed with Kuyt, Aquilani, Maxi and likely Bellamy leaving.
We cannot be run like Arsenal because A) They have a bigger stadium B) They are based in London and charge the highest rates for tickets and C) They had a team playing CL football when they started their model.
Could it be that we needed to sell Carroll to fund new players and now that he doesn't want the move, we are selling Agger loaning two world superstars?
If we are all only happy when we are really winning in the end, when your race finishes, what life would that be?
