England drop three places in the Fifa rankings table to 17th - their lowest ranking since 2001.

Roy Hodgson's side are leapfrogged by Chile and USA, with a win against Moldova and a draw with Ukraine not enough to prevent them sliding down the rankings.

Wales drop six places to 52, with the Republic of Ireland falling five places to 59. Scotland are down to 63 but Northern Ireland climb 23 places to 86 in the world.

Agree totally.

I'm me ,happen to be born in Ireland but it makes no difference to who I am,its just a piece of land. Seen very little to be proud of with Ireland and those running it in the past either. Patricks day does my head in and the Irish football team are exactly that,a football team consisting of players representing Ireland who I can choose to support if I wish.Many of them aren't even Irish!

Each to their own but nationalism is not for me.
