Look at past performances for the previous 20 odd years - 2nd round maybe the quarter finals but that's as good as it gets.
We need wholesale changes within the FA from the top down but I can't see it happening
Still got dick heads like Trevor Brooking involved in the running of the FA. Nobody wants to commit to overhauling the entire way we play at International Level.
Ah so which ever teams spank us out of the tournament it won't be down to our far inferior tactics and ability it'll be down to the hotel not being up to the standards required to keep them happy
Indeed, but then we wouldn't be able to use it as a stick to beat him with.

Maybe in terms of the teams you are drawn against some on paper look harder than others. The draw is a time when speculation is rife and people have a lot of fun looking at the potential possibilities.
It is a nice game to play but I have not involved myself too much in that, we will get what we get. The most important thing is to be there. We don't know how good Argentina are, we would all think 'blimey, Argentina are strong' but we don't know that. They might be no stronger than Chile. The good thing is that if we get Argentina, for example, we will be there and have a chance to play them and believe we can go out and beat them.
Yes, we know we've qualified, Roy - yes, we know you're happy to just be there, but only you wouldn't know what to expect from Argentina.
According to Roy, it doesn't matter if we get that group, he just needs the FA to get the whole work life balance thing right for the 'lads'. As long as they're not bored between games and the hotel's facilities are aces, we're good to go.
