To be honest I think he has been a decent England manager at a time when most of our top players have been aging or injury prone. However, I don't understand the easy ride he has had compared to his predecessors many of whom have done better than he has.

I think he has done ok. But not when its counted. The World Cup being the prime example. We had the talent and should have gotten out of that group. But in the end we only got a point. Just not good enough really.

We were only clearly better than one of the squads in our WC group and England teams seem to underperform at big tournaments and usually European teams struggle in South America. Personally, I would still have sacked him after the tournament but I can see the counter argument.

For me Hodgson is a strange choice for a coach who has clearly been given a mandate to fail short term on the understanding of building a squad for the future. He has done well in qualifying whilst doing much better than I though he would at bringing in young players. They don't seem to have really developed though either as individuals or components of a team.

Furthermore, for me Bodge is a penis of the highest order.

I think maybe I am blinded by hatred in this case. Because when you lay it out like that it makes sense. I still think he's a **** manager and coach though. No evidence to show otherwise at the moment

If we are all only happy when we are really winning in the end, when your race finishes, what life would that be?

Wearing a belt with your surname initial on the front.

                              I bet Roy's says "38".
