England will play Germany and a team from outside of Europe in November........
England's failure to qualify as one of eight seeded teams for the 2014 World Cup has been confirmed with the release of the latest Fifa rankings.
Hosts Brazil and the top seven ranked qualifiers will be kept apart in the group stages of next year's tournament.BBC
England will have to face one of Brazil, Spain, Argentina, Germany, Switzerland, Belgium, Colombia and probably Uruguay.
So, the guy from the **** rag was on radio just now, said the player that called this in, who was offended, says he stands by what he said..and was disgusted the FA would use the NASA story to cover it all up, he's unequivocal about it apparantley.
But of course, the bloke form the **** rag said...'do i think Roy is a racist ? No!'
So why not find out if it was really meant as a racial insult, or just Bodger being Bodger! before stirring up a **** storm?
Seems to me this player totally didn't get what Bodger was saying, still doesn't, or now finds himself stuck in a corner and wont admit it to himself.
The tone Bodger delivered it in will have had an influence i expect, and how much of the analogy he first used, if for instance he just pointed at Townsend and shouted..'Feed the monkey!' i can see where a player could get confused.
But i really doubt it was meant to be demeaning or insulting.
He's bound to say that. The FA aren't going to replace that ****wit as manager. If Townsend says anything else, he probably won't be picked for the World Cup.

Sir Herman Ouseley of Kick It Out tells me the FA has a responsibility to investigate context and facts of Roy Hodgson's half-time comments
Paul Kelso @pkelso
Ouseley "This is not a hanging offence but offence has been caused, and now it is public the FA has a duty to investigate what happened" 1/2
Paul Kelso @pkelso
2/2 "All the FA has to do is examine the facts and make a statement. If they do not then there will be recriminations from other players."
Paul Kelso @pkelso
Ouseley: “It is not a hanging offence, no-one is calling for Hodgson to lose his job, but the FA cannot ignore it, offence has been caused."
He should be sacked. Pure and simple. Like Fidget says, FA don't care about context. They didn't with Suarez and Terry. They shouldn't do here either. What a ****e ****ing joke too
