He wants to play 2-3-5, needs a decent inside right for it to work
Those that hid Anne Frank were breaking the law.
Those that killed her, were following the law.

Rooney has to be dropped, move Alli behind Kane with Sturridge (sorry! ) and play Vardy/Rashford as subs who can get past tiring defenders.

Looked a mess going forward last night with Vardy and Kane asked to play as wingers effectively

Then to top if off Hodgson gets all shirty after the match about it.

We’ll go to France reasonably confident

Such an inspirational manager to play for!

"I am happy I have got 16/17 good players and happy with the options available to us."

So the ones who never get off the bench in France are going to know what he really thinks of them!

Came out with his usual bollocks of lowering expectations after the game & not in a way that would instil any confidence

......each one of the matches has posed us problems and shown up some areas we still have to work on so even that's positive.

"I'm happy that we're definitely on the right track as far as that's concerned, and we'll go to France confident that we can keep this going and also knowing full well that we're not the finished article
What do you mean it could've been anyone? Name me one person who's got a grudge against penguins

I'm starting to like him now.
If we are all only happy when we are really winning in the end, when your race finishes, what life would that be?

                        Ha Reet.

Seriously though, how does he still get away with this ****?
                        3rd place. Worst champions ever.

Great way to endear yourself to the predominately foreign squad Roy.

Maybe this has been discussed elsewhere, I don't know. But I think Woy has finally managed to dampen down all expectation and excitement about the Euros. I watched the Shearer Euro 96 programme the other day, and I can recall the excitement and anticipation when England played, the hope that somehow we could win the damn thing.
There was Euro fever in the streets, in the bars, in work, in the clubs.

Now, there is **** all. I live in a place, a little England place, where flags would adorn houses and every other car would have England flags fluttering from the windows as they drove past.

This year this is nothing. **** all. The odd flag. Very little talk about England in work. No real enthusiasm for the competition generally. The old cunt has finally made the general England mad public not give a ****. We all know what will happen. Flatter to deceive. Scrape through the group. Then fall over the moment they play a half decent side.

Having said that as I've got older, I have given less and less of a ****e about England. The whole set up stinks. The FA, ha, the FA. Their general ****housery down the years has made me hate them and all the old suits who sit at their desks making knee jerk populist decisions, in between their 4 hour all expenses paid lunch breaks.

Then there are the players. I have never felt such a disconnect to a group of little cunts who are representing the nation. Most are horrible little pricks who are millionaires and image obsessed, and don't seem to have the required fight and belief to roll up their sleeves when the going gets tough. There seem to be few real men, real leaders, knocking about these days. The likes of a Butcher or an Adams in years gone by.

Then chuck Woy on to the top of that stinking pile, and no wonder my enthusiasm has waned. But it seems he has done a great job in dismantling the passion of everyone else, certainly round my way; on people who probably don't hate the FA in the way I do, or who see the England players in the manner in which I do. Well done you jowly old owl faced prick.

Euro 96 was in England though to be fair. It was a big event in our back yard.
