I bought BT broadband on Wednesday and the earliest it can be installed/activated is 18th December. I've paid £147 upfront to discount the line rental, router etc.

My BT Sport still isn't working on Sky, so I called them up and they said because my Broadband hasn't started yet I can't get BT Sport on Sky, only on the App. What bull****!

After they ****ed our broadband order at work massively they have sold us a new phone system, once again the salesman has departed, the order is all over the shop, they have changed what was provided and want another £1500 to get what we originally wanted. They then sent the wrong equipment, which was sent back and then two engineers came out to install the missing equipment. The direct debit has been set up and it bares no relevance to our order, they then cancelled one of our lines in error which meant a potential loss of business. 7 hours to get them to switch us back on. When they get it wrong they are horrendous. Too big, too many people in the chain, complete chancers and cunts. I'd line the whole lot up against a wall and shoot them all.

So would I. I hate them. Your tale of woe is a joke.

My folks run a business from home - online - and they live in the countryside. They moved house a month ago and it took BT an entire month to get them online in their new house. My Dad paid £160 to 'escalate' it and hurry the process along but it still took a month, despite numerous false promises that it'd be "installed tomorrow". Their excuse was "because it's in the countryside"

BT Sport is still free to BT broadband customers for the upcoming season, but you have to pay £3 a month to get it in HD.

Now Sky coverage of Spain's La Liga could come under threat from BT Sport

Contract stretching back nearly two decades expires at end of the season, opening the door for newest and biggest rival to snatch the rights from 2015

Its new dedicated European football channel only launched on Tuesday but Sky Sports could soon find itself without both the Champions League and Primera Liga as BT Sport weighs up a bid for the Spanish top flight.

Sky has kept an iron grip on La Liga, the home of Real Madrid and Barcelona, for almost two decades but its contract expires at the end of the season, opening the door for its newest and biggest rival to snatch the rights from 2015.

That is exactly what BT Sport did with the Champions League last year, blowing Sky out of the water by paying £897 million to show Uefa’s club competitions exclusively for three years.

It already has Germany’s Bundesliga, Italy’s Serie A, France’s Ligue 1 and Portugal’s Primeira Liga and taking their Spanish equivalent in the coming weeks would be a major coup, calling into question Sky’s decision to launch a seventh dedicated sports channel in Sky Sports 5 to showcase its European football portfolio.

It would also represent a huge statement of intent from BT Sport ahead of the Premier League auction, which is expected to begin at the turn of the year.

The warring media giants could also battle it out for the rights to the International Cricket Council’s major tournaments, which were put out to tender last month.

Those tournaments – currently held by Sky – include the World Cup, Champions Trophy and World Twenty20 and winning them would represent BT Sport’s first serious move into cricket broadcasting.

Another highly-prized set of rights will be England’s autumn rugby internationals, which include next summer’s warm-up matches for the World Cup.

Sky is expected to fight tooth and nail to keep hold of the rights it already holds, having bounced back from losing the Champions League this year with a swathe of contract renewals.

Sky Broadband is ****e though, especially in rural areas. It's a commonly known fact, you'll find loads of people moaning about it.

So don't expect BT to be any better.

When does champions league transfer to BT Sport?
                      Oh I don't know.

I'm just wondering whether to acquire BT Sports. It's not cheap.

I've got it this year, June in fact, upgraded my Virgin to get it. I now have for the first time in years access to sport, Eurosport, ESPN, Motors & BT sport. I've watched Baseball, Tennis, Rodeo Riding, Australian V8 Supercars, Ligue 1 and some random Swedish Speedway. How did I cope before?

Haven't had Sky for ten years or more.

I'm on the phone to Virgin now. It's an extra £50 a month for Sky Sports and BT.

Supply and demand are not in equilibrium. So I've turned it down.
