its initially done the opposite. Sky paid 7x more for the renewal of their Premier League rights than the previous package cost and within a few weeks raised the price of Sky for everybody to pay for this.Originally posted by Alex View PostYou have to say, dispite being left behind for years. They are making a good fist of this.
Its just a shame that it didn't start a price war. All its done is made Sky introduce SS5. Which is the worst channel of the lot.
Until people stop paying for Sky the prices will continue to rise

I'm guessing most already know, but £20 p/m for non BT customers.
Knew it wasn't going to be £13.50.
Probably would have been fair if Sky lowered their prices, but that was never gonna happen. If we are all only happy when we are really winning in the end, when your race finishes, what life would that be?

I only joined BT on 3rd May, I get a call yesterday from some arse saying did I know about the European channel? I said yes, he says I can get it for free if they renew my contract. It only started 6 weeks ago! I said no. Now had an email saying its £5 more a month to get this channel or I can 'renew' my contract and get it free. The new contract would be 18 months. It's sneeky, I deliberately only signed for 12 months in case I need to **** them off. If I move to somewhere more remote I may need to ditch them and go satellite.Always borrow money from a pessimist. He won’t expect it back. Oscar Wilde
