I seem to now have BT Sport having just upgraded all my Kids channels for an extra £6 per month through Virgin.
    Modifying post.

It was. Early round and early kick off. I missed most of it.
      Oh I don't know.

I'll be watching on TV3 for free in horrid SD (I suspect the youtube feed will look better!)
Awful SD picture and awful commentators and analysis. I bloody hate that channel. BT sport for me.

They deliberately haven't marketed the free channel. Most people don't even know it exists. They've been getting audiences comparable to what Sky used to get on their pay channels for matches involving English clubs (averaging around 700,000), but the games on the free channel were attracting less than 200,000. I suspect UEFA will want that looked at. They were obviously more than happy to basically triple their income from UK broadcasters in exchange for slashing free-to-air access, bit Britain is one of the biggest markets for their corporate sponsors. They don't get any of the TV cash, they're just interested in eyeballs.
