Followed that fella since the start of the 'saga'. He has been very unreliable and hasn't got anything right yet. He told me Siggy was in London when it transpired he was in Iceland, that Spurs weren't even interested and hadn't made a bid and it was between us and Reading (whom it transpired didn't even make an approach), and that the interview with his dad didn't happen when it first appeared on RAWK and TLW last night.

I think he is a optimistic Icelandic LFC fan who is desperate for Gylfi to choose us and therefore his reporting is a little blinkered. Seems a sound lad though.

P.S. Gylfi is not the man who is chasing the money. It's Barnett, and he is appearantly trying to convince Gylfi to take money over Rodgers.

He should realise that liverpool arent scared of paying big wages because our top players earn big money but were not going to spunk money away on young players wages who arent top players yet and who may never become so.

If he delivers they will increase his wages and theres no doubt if he has a good season with us he would get a bumper pay rise. Have a clause built into your contract that if he plays 40 games and or scores / assists another 20 goals then he gets his 60k per week.

I've got a son the same age as he is. There is no way on earth he'll be thinking along any lines other than money and the league he's joining plus euro footy

Gylfi's agent wanted his client to join Tottenham. Gylfi remained insistent however on joining Liverpool and has gotten the move he wanted. It's been a difficult choice but Gylfi has made his decision. He will be joining Brendan Rodgers at Liverpool. We're all delighted for him.

The Guardian and the BBC are the most reliable a statistical analysis study found a few years ago and both of those have said he's off to Spurs.

There has been nothing else or new info to suggest there has been any change and that he isn't still going to Spurs.
