Gylfi's agent wanted his client to join Tottenham. Gylfi remained insistent however on joining Liverpool and has gotten the move he wanted. It's been a difficult choice but Gylfi has made his decision. He will be joining Brendan Rodgers at Liverpool. We're all delighted for him.

I hope so for the simple reason that if the manager wants him we get him. I don't know that much about him tbh but if the manager wants to make him his first signing it bodes well if we get him. It would also be a slap in the face for Spurs if, as reported, they've offered him double what we have & he then signed for us.
