He played in his favoured central role yesterday but I don't recall him having a decent chance. Maybe the air shot, possibly.

Is he getting into good positions and not being picked out, or is he getting bad positions because it is too difficult to pick him out?

Glen Johnson could of squared one to him last night, also he ripped 3 defenders before dragging his effort wide.

Thinking of all the other back-up strikers we've had over the years. N'Gog springs to mind. I can safely say that I have much more faith in Borini to come in and make an impact than any others.
