I don't think we'll miss him at all. I still hope he will develop into an excellent striker, but I don't see a great deal of difference between Borini and other peripheral youngsters looking for an opportunity to break into the first team.

I thought, in spite of his lack of goals he was progressing nicely. He is only 20/21, and created a lot during the game.

I think Suarez loved playing with him as he created areas for him to run into, so in that respect I think we will miss him. Possibly to the detriment of Suarez getting goals too.

He hasn't done much so far but I think it was always going to take time for him to settle. He's still only 21 so perhaps we've expected a bit too much.

Shame about the setback, but at this moment in time Sterling and Suso are more valuable to the team.

Hopefully he recovers quickly.

Although I agree that Borini does display some clever movement, I haven't noticed that much of an understanding with Suarez TBH. Probably more coincidence, but 5 of Suarez' 7 goals have been scored when Borini was off the pitch.

Disappointed that he's got injured but Suso and Raheem have played better IMO and Assaidi or Pacheco could maybe do a similar job. Who knows, maybe Downing will step up to the plate.

The problem with Carroll is that he just doesn't fit in Rodgers' system at all.

Even though it seems logical that we will recall him in January I'm not so sure Rodgers will do that even with the shortage of the strikers.

This season seems to be gone so I wouldn't be surprised if he continues to fast track youngsters especially if we don't significantly improve in January.
