borini makes some really intelligent runs off the ball - like he did for suarez yesterday.

but is overall contribution in terms of when he's on the ball isnt anywhere near good enough. I go back to my point in that borini is another one who was bought to play the 433.

now we're playing more of a 4231 he doesnt have the tools to play as one of the creative wide players. he doesnt offer any threat with the ball at his feet at all.

dya reckon - well if his attribute is pace, he imo doesn't show it/use it - he certainly doesn't seem to offer that as a threat from a wide area

Rogers seems to favour playing Borini out wide for some reason, i thought we brought him in to be a CF? IMO Rogers hasn't done him any favours by playing him out there, he has looked dreadful out wide and seems a very unnatural position for him as..... he can't beat a man, has terrible technique and i have yet to see him strike or pass a ball cleanly in a LFC shirt.

My point being, Suarez & Sturridge are better than in in the CF role & Borini clearly looks very uncomfortable in the wide areas...... so where does he fit in?

                  P.S. Also........ He looks ****e

Buying several bargain, potential signings seem to be costing as much as buying one established player who could add more to the team (or group)

This is my gripe, we need players for the 'now'. Players who have experience and the ability to make us better this season, and not after 74 matches ....when you can only truly judge how good a LFC player is.

If, say, Lazio or some other Serie A club bid £8m for Borini this summer - who would sell?

I would... simply because I'd rather have a natural wide player playing wide than trying to convert a central player.

Bit harsh. He's not looked good when he's been in deep wide positions. When he has been closer to goal he's shown more promise. He needs more games in a more advanced position. That probably will only happen if sturridge or Suarez is injured. The whole team looked a bit **** yesterday. That does not make them all ****. Laying into this week's scapegoat may make you feel better but what benefit does it really have? It amazes me the bile some of you serve up for players of your own team. Get a grip. Have some patience.

fair point, i don't think he using it well with the ball either.
