Fiorentina - Borini: 'Negotiations at an Advanced Stage'
"The Blue's goal during the Under-21 friendly against Germany today, together with his recent extremely positive performances at Liverpool, have raised market interest in Fabio Borini - rumors being that Liverpool would like to sell him back to Italy this summer, with strong interest from Fiorentina.
'As I understand it, the deal to bring Borini to Florence is at an advanced stage' - told journalist Mario Sconcerti, host of Piazza Duomo suRadio, Tuscany.
The player likes that Pradè and Macía recently attempted to sign him to Florence during the January transfer window.'"
I'm assuming they missed the Oldham match?

Why? Ben Arfa would miss half the game then his attitude would cause further issues.Originally posted by Pablo1981 View PostIf we sold him and got someone like Ben Arfa in as a replacement (he's heavily linked right now), do you honestly think we'd regret it? I don't.

Injury worries are a concern yes, but what "issues" has his reported bad attitude caused at Newcastle? I haven't heard a whisper. I think he's grown up recently to be fair.Originally posted by Mattshark View PostWhy? Ben Arfa would miss half the game then his attitude would cause further issues.

****ing hell - i'm not a 'fan' of his but to sell him so soon is amazing
- are we going to buy him back in 12 months time for £15m as well
poor lad tho, will that be something like his 6th move/club in like 2 and half years
- i'm sure on the LFC documentary he was saying he has had to move house about 5 times in a couple of years
i own everton fans on the internet....that's what i do

Heavily linked but i would be shocked ( yet not surprised) if we get screwed over by Newcastle again.Originally posted by Pablo1981 View PostIf we sold him and got someone like Ben Arfa in as a replacement (he's heavily linked right now), do you honestly think we'd regret it? I don't.
I just think in a few years I reckon he could become a very good player but having said that with our current set up and attacking prowess
He may never get the chance with us to play regularly enough to realise his potential with us anyway.

Fabio Borini's agent claims his client is happy at Liverpool and is keen to distance himself from talk of a move to Fiorentina.
Borini only moved to Anfield last summer, with Brendan Rodgers bringing in a player he worked with during a loan spell at Swansea City.
The Italian has not enjoyed the best of starts to life in the Premier League on Merseyside, with injuries having prevented him from making the desired impact.
It has been suggested that he could be tempted to head home at the end of the season, with Fiorentina prepared to offer him a route back to Serie A.
But Borini's representative has moved to rubbish such reports, with the 21-year-old fully focused on being a success in the Premier League and justifying the faith shown in him by Liverpool.
Marco De Marchi told firenzeviola.it: "I have never been contacted by Fiorentina and I have nothing to suggest they are interested.
"Fabio is happy to play for Liverpool, one of the most prestigious clubs in the world, and is happy with his experience in the Premier League.
"A return to Italy? Fabio is 21 years old and the poor lad has already changed teams five times. He is tied to Liverpool until 2017.
"If the reported interest from Fiorentina is true, then we should thank them as they are a club that has focused on the nurturing of young talent, but I haven't discussed this with Fabio.
"He is just back from an injury and his season starts now. His mind is wholly focused on Liverpool."
